Marathon SEO
Are you a runner? Are you a SEO? If so, then this is going to be a great week for you.
Today the Boston Marathon takes off and this week the WembasterWorld Pubcon conference kicks off as well. I'm leaving in a few hours to attend one of the best conferences for hands on search engine optimization and paid search marketing information.
The keynote speaker is Malcom Gladwell, author of "The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make A Big Difference" and "Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking". All the major search engines will be there along with in-house marketers, agencies, vendors and the group that started it all, independent webmasters and search marketers.
Topics range from organic SEO site reviews to paid search strategies to public relations. Speaking of PR, I'll be presenting on SEO, Blogs and Online PR Wednesday morning (after a night of revelry ala Yahoo Publisher Network) on a Public Relations panel along with CEO and founder of PRWeb.com, David McInnis.
With a conference that has a hands on and practical flavor, the information I'll be presenting is very much like giving away some of the "secret sauce", so hopefully you'll be attending the conference. Using online public relations is a perfect match to natural search engine optimization programs and can multiply the results.
I'll be posting on a few of the sessions as I have time, particularly the keynote presentation and the "Super Bloggers of Search" session with Robert Scoble of Microsoft, Jeremy Zawodny of Yahoo and Matt Cutts of Google.
